Swiss electric drawings

Post by Mountaineer »

Does anyone have or know of a source for Swiss Railways Krokodil electric locomotives?

Thanks,
Mountaineer.

There's a fairly new 7.5" gauge Crok crawling around Train Mountain RR these days.
That means drawings exist, because it got built. A little research should find it and the builder.
Anyone here have info?

I saw this in New Zealand in 2012. It was I believe fairly new at the time. I've lost all my notes from that time so I don't know who the builder is but I could find out.

There is also a guy on California's central coast who owns a 15" gauge version. I can make some inquiries for source material.

The builder is John Romanes, and unfortunately I was just notified that he passed away 18 months ago.

Here's a video showing the completed 15" gauge crocodile.

It was built by this company: http://www.balson.ch/
