Completed Standard AAR Offset Hopper

Post by clinch670 »

I thought I’d post of one of the latest 1.5 scale hoppers to roll out. This is one of my kits of the standard AAR offset hoppers. This run sold out almost instantly but I am currently working on the reserve list for the Nickle Plate/C&O/Clinchfield rounded end 55 ton offset hopper. If your interested in one of these kits please feel free to contact me.

Kevin...very, VERY nice! If I didn't know better, I'd say it looked like an Athearn model on steroids! Great attention to details. Graphics make the model stand out. Can only hope somebody/anybody...doesn't decide to use one of those cars for ballast duty!

Have hunch you're going to be busy selling MORE kits! Thanx for sharing. Carl B.

Amazing work! I can see why they sold out so quickly.

Looks great. Wouldn't mind having one or two to pull behind my F-unit.

If you’re interested in one of the rounded end cars please contact me via email as they are almost sold out and will not be offered again.

Can you give us a price or a price range for these cars?

Jerry

I’m hoping to keep these as close to the price of the standard hopper ( the one pictured). They were 675.00. These rounded end cars are slightly different so the price may be a tad less or a tad more. I won’t know until I submit the job to the shop.

Here are some pics of the rounded end hopper that I’m currently taking reservations for. These will only be done one time. I only have a couple spots left for reservations so contact me if interested.
