STEAMIN UP VIDEO REACHES ONE MILLION VIEWS

Post by Trainman4602 »

Hi All
One of my videos has reached one million views. I have been making these and posting them on you tube for 10 years. This is my first video top reach the one million mark. I posted this video about four years ago and only recently it started to take off. In January of this year it was just in the 35 thousand mark and something happened and it just started racking up views. some 30,000 a day. I can't explain how this happened.

I also have 262 more videos on there as well.

Hi Dave,

Funny you mention. One of my colleagues at work, who has no relation to the hobby other than he knows that I am somehow involved, watched this exact video of yours the other day after YouTube automatically suggested it to him based on his video history. For the record, he thoroughly enjoyed watching it!

Sincerey,

Hopefully you monetized that video!
I know I look for train crashes and documentaries(these also have millions of views) on Youtube and your video's get suggested all the time.

I love that "Steamin' Up" video and have probably contributed a couple of dozen views to the total. It's great to watch when I can't get to the club track, but want to enjoy the sights and sounds of live steam.
