Ross coal fired his articulated the first few seasons he ran it. I am not sure what year he first ran it. I think he completed his shay in 1972.

WELL! one question has been answered . WHO is running George Dimonds 3/4" Mountain. It is none other than DILLY DILLY AKA "The Menace" or Ian Fisher. LOL 13 or 14 @ this time. Brad Harrison IS running the I-4 New Haven 1 1/2". Built by George Litzen. Bud Hanson running Walter Bushes Gov. Stanford 1 1/2" American, Now @ Charles River Museum of Industry in Waltham, Ma. I was @ the track during this time period. I was a young fellow @ that time also.

Ian @ 2:59 plenty of hair. This part of film taken from walk-over highline bridge. Who took theses films ?

In the 2nd video is an interesting and unknown 1-1/2" scale Hudson at PVLS as well as a black Pacific, 7-1/4" gauge, number 6870 as I recall, that the Metcalf family had bought some 30+ years ago and had in Ashtabula. I had heard that someone supposedly was working on regauging it to 7-1/2" but it was a huge secret.

Where's the New Haven I-4 Pacific now that Brad Harrison built? Elm53, did you mention once last year that it's in some doctor's backyard in NY in a shed now sitting neglected?

First time I've seen Bruce's 2-8-0 in operation. Is it still in NE Ohio?

In the second film, there is Frank De Santis with his Wabash Mogul double heading with what looks to be a Tweetsie 4-6-0?, Bruce Blackman with his 2-8-0, Harry Quick and his 4-6-4, looks to be Tom Dininio on Culp's 0-4-0 camelback, Ken Stone with his 4-6-2, and Jim Maxhimers 4-4-2 (stack extension). On the highline, Hild's 4-6-2 with what looks to be him on the back of the car and Mike Field's 0-4-0 tank engine. Might be way off but we need to start putting names to engines and faces.

I forgot to mention Sal Moskowitz with his box cab (I think) on the ground line right at the start of the film.

Steve, that is not a Tweetsie 4-6-0 it is a Southern Railway Ten Wheeler also built by Frank DeSantis and owned when this was taken by the Triggiani family from New Jersey.

The fellow on the high line with the little switcher and checkered pants is John Hannum and his Blackstaffe “Beginners Locomotive.”
