Post by Curtis_F » Fri Jan 10, 2003 10:56 am

Gentelmen,

I'm looking for personal opinions on avliable 1.5" scale car parts for a couple of 1907 era cattle cars.

Who, in your own opinions, makes the best looking of the following:

Queen posts (for a 5/32" dia. rod)
Turnbuckles (#8-36UNF or #6-40UNF threads)
Sliding car door hanging mechanisim.

Thank you all for your time

Hi Curtis

Try Branchline Products, or Railroad Warehouse.

You can get to there web pages from the Ridge Live Steamers links page.

Railroad Warehouse is a very good place to deal. Bob has a lot of great parts for scratch building.
