Unka Jesse, here a picture of my ..... baby ....
Unka Jesse and Anyone Else Who's interested,
Here's a pic of my loco. She's a slightly freelanced 7.25" gauge model of a 24" gauge loco.
I didn't put it to the board before, because ....... "I'm bloody useless" when it comes to showing of my toys......because for some stupid reason, it embarrases me.....
One of these days I'll get around to taking a photo of my "O" gauge 4-6-0+0-6-4 coal fired Garratt, and I'll post that too.
Phill.

Thanks Unka Jesse, Willy, Tom Wade, Tel, Bill Gardei, Bob Starr, and (last but not least) Dampfwilli, for your comments.
Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera, so I'll take a snap of him and when the roll is used up, send it in for developing. Then you'll get to have a look at him. So you'd better give me a month to get it all done.
Oh, Nellie is a 0-4-2, with 2x3 cylinders driving 6" wheels. She goes very nicely (so I'm told), and pulls approximately 7 tons. I do have to hop of and manually sand the rails on the heavy grades, just like in the full size practice, when I've got that kind of load on her. Now don't give me curry about overloading her, because she sounds so GOOD when she's barking under load...... <GRIN>........ and she steams her head off too.......

Heck you get better traction than my 2-6-0. The best I can do is 3000 pounds on a 2% grade. Otherwise it has to be wicked flat if I am to try for 20 people. How heavy is your lokie Phil? I suppose that would also have a lot to do with it. I am only exerting about 40 ponds per wheel on mine.
