Check with Rod Johnston at Riding Railkits www.ridingrailkits.com. He bought the Superscale (Moseley) headlight and generator when Barry was selling off those items.

Ben,

I notice you say you are a member of the official Shay drag racing team. Does this mean you were out in Washington (?) when they had the big race? I have it on video somewhere.

Hi Jesse,

Although I wish I had the T-shirt to go with it, the Shay drag racing team is kind of a joke with our club. Everyone else is running high drivered Pacifics and Atlantics. When I showed up with my Shay, the other members thought I was going to clog the railroad. But alas, the Shay keeps up right with the big engines. It also has the advantage of "no slip starts" so I can take any of the larger engines "off the line" an beat 'em to the main.

Ben, get one of the "T" shirt programs for your computer and make your own "Shay Drag Racing Team" complete with picture. I have several different ones that I have printed up to wear to meets. Just be sure to reverse the picture so the lettering will be right.
