How to turn your hobby into a small fortune

Post by steamin10 »

Start with a large fortune.
Big Dave, former Millwright, Electrician, Environmental conditioning, and back yard Fixxit guy. Now retired, persuing boats, trains, and broken relics.
We have enough youth, how about a fountain of Smart. My computer beat me at chess, but not kickboxing
It is not getting caught in the rain, its learning to dance in it. People saying good morning, should have to prove it.

Right on! ROFALOL but that is a good one! I could spend a pretty good fortune if I just bought one of each from all the tool catalogues that come floating through the mails each month!!

heard it said this way a while back in a knifemaking magazine. this was the response to an interviewer question of - what would you do if you woke up one day and had won the $250 mil lottery?

the sage knifemaker said - I guess I would just continue making knives until it was all gone.

I never heard it said so well, or truly, of a hobby turned into a for-profit venture.

I've heard that phrase applied to both farming & the stock market...don't know where it originated...but it fits...
