Commercial builders

Post by wbarbe »

Does anyone know anyone who builds engines at a reasonable price????
I want a steam engine, but lack the skill and equipment to do it myself.
Would an Allen 10 Wheeler be a good choice?
I want something easy to run and maintain, and a little more "Old timey" than the Little Engines 0-4-0.
Any thoughts?

I think LocoParts has a beautiful Allen Mogul for sale. Don's engines are great runners and good lookers. http://www.locoparts.net
