Bob,
That George the Vth was was not the Rinek locomotive. The Charmwood (Rinek) locomotive was later owned by Pierre Maurer of the NJLS and sold to Ed Loomie of the Long Island Club. Where it went from there I can't say, but durng Ed's ownership he repainted the loco from the LMS Crimson color to black.

Thanks to Alan Stepney and Steve Bratina, I was able to collect a lot of information concerning the tenders used behind the Royal Scot's over the years. I finally decided I really liked the Stanier verson the best. Here's the result...

My dad told me when Ben bought the Royal Scot, my grandfather Bud Kremers bought the George the fifth that came over with it from Mr Rinek. Well, I should say Rinek sold it to someone who sold it to my grandfather shortly after. We are going to rebuild the boiler. I'm getting the drawings from the Greenly archive. Does anyone know of any of these still running in the US?

You would be looking for

LMS Locomotive Profiles #1, The rebuilt Royal Scot's.

I thought I had more of the loco profile books, but apparently only have the ones on the Black 5's.
