I like John's suggestion about making a roster of 3/4" locomotives with photos if you're able. Let's see the old engines waiting on the shelf for their turn of restoration, the projects underway and the beauties that are in fine running form today.JBodenmann wrote:I think it would be cool if everyone working on a 3/4" engine were to post a couple photos. We need to encourage each other and do some networking.

Loco Pics
This sounds like an electronic version of the Wandering Locomotive Books. Good idea.
Here are three pictures of engines that have had work done on them last year. The Maisie was built by H.J. MacLarnon of Peterborough Ontario. It was rebuilt in 2007 and repainted last year (don't ask).
The Schools was the 25th engine built by Jack Hewitson. It was finished off last year. The repainting of this engine was done on the night shift at the powerhouse where I used to work. A good place to bake on the paint.
The GTR 2-8-2 is George Dimond's locomotive. It began as a Maine Central 623 around 1975 and changed to the 3704 around the late 1980's. The cab had a cut in it so George could see the gauge glass in his later years. I filled in the opening and added an arch and corn grates.
