Cylinder lagging

What product do you use for cylinder lagging? I wanted to use "Kaowool Moldable" but I am having trouble finding it. I am really looking for something solidto back up the jacket, but I think it should be paste-like so it can fit around the contours of the casting.

That seems like way overkill. I'd be very surprised it a model cylinder block ever exceeded 300 degrees and it may not exceed 250.

Fibre Glass Matting like used on Boats or Auto repair.
Not the thin stuff, but 1/8" + thickness
