The Commonwealth trucks you need are very different from mine. The leaf springs that are on each side are on the swing motion bolster and are hung with hangers that attach to the truck cross transoms. The humps that are on the top of the side frames near each end encase two coil springs each that rest on top of a straight equalizer that rests on top of the journal boxs. I do not have drawings for these trucks but will see what I can find.

thats kinda how I figured they worked....like I said there is a full size tender up in pamona on 3450 at the fairplex....going to take a gazillion photos and measurements...maybe just end up casting them myself obviously with much help from a pattern maker and a foundry. I would love to learn but just have had no opportunity.

Is there a website advertising Ed Yungling's commonwealth trucks?

Thanks!
