New treads while you wait!

Ha, I found this after following a link from one of the threads here. They are cutting new treads while the wheel and axe are still under the loco.....

Wow! Thanks for sharing that. If I'm not mistaken that locomotive said WILL COUNTY COAL HANDLING. Which I believe is at a power plant only a few miles from me.

Yes a welder provides power for the traction motor to "spin the wheel set..

Did you also know that they have the same machine in a CNC version?
