Fred,

I can vouch for Consolidated Castings, John Allen, the owner is definately "steam friendly" he has cast many parts for Regg Weller's 24" RR at West tocoi and Bostwick Railroad at N.E. Fla live Steamers neflsri.com

Here's the one I use. It's a father/son operation. I got all 6 of my drivers cast and shipped for $365.00. I sent them the loose patterns and they mounted them on the match plates.

I use Sunset Foundry in Valley Springs Ca. They make their cast iron out of steel that is new like punchings etc. in an electric furnace. The iron is top quality Resonably priced. The phone number is 209-754-0601 David Freitas is the owner. Valley Springs is Southeast of Sacramento.

Bumping this up to the top in case anyone has any to add to the list. I will be in need of a foundry very soon for a run of some pedestals and journal boxes.

Here's one in Southern California:

I use Tri Cast in Akron Ohio. Good price, but sometimes a 6-8 week delivery.
