Sorocabana railway 4-8-2 3-cylinder locomotive built by ALCO

Post by hudson »

Model built by Arnaldo Bottan, Brazil

I found yesterday the following videos Portuguese spoken:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JFqdSN-f4E

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fml-xuSKtMs

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWew0jvuePw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3MrIRRIOPs

I assume that these videos are very interesting in spite of the language as they show things
which are rarely incorporated in models.

As I don't speak Portuguese following the discussions is almost impossible, my French helping a little bit,
it would be nice if someone speaking Portuguese could write a short summary.

A website giving more details and links is:

Hi Arnaldo

That is a very good looking locomotive.

What gauge do you use in Brazil? 4-3/4" or 5"

Thanks
