While we attended the Manatee Central Railroad meet Sherman had an opportunity to drive a steam tractor that is owned by one member.
He was really was thrilled to operated it.

Yeah, I drove a 4" scale out to Riverside Live Steamers (Norman?) once. He said it best, you need to plan ahead of time where you want to turn. So many turns you have before it responds.
6" is a good scale. You can do more than just show, with that size you can actually do some heavy work with it.
