Welcome aboard!

The RMI website does make mention of the fact that they've redrawn the locomotive plans and later states that the castings can be purchased rough or machined.
This would seem to imply the ability to purchase the items separately.

If nobody on this BB has first hand experience you can email them or call them and remove all doubt.

Dave Rohr might know as he used to machine for them............

Yet they did change hands, so who knows with the current owners.

The new owners of RMI have their fingers in several other pies. They are a little slow to get back with you but once you get connected they have pretty good service and all the parts they used to have.

I was just at a friends last night who is well into a Sweet Creek Build. While they do sell plans for this engine, there is much interpritation left to the builder. There are some erection drawings that do not exisit and a few parts he has found missing. When he questioned RMI, he was told "you got what we have". As an experienced builder he figures that he'll figure it out, but right now he's deffinately got a few parts on the bench labeled as "hmmmmm, wonder where they go"
