Folks ask how we move this monster. This is moving the 1690 from the machine shop area of Keal Case to the Wells Cargo and to the track in the floor.
Now we are off to playing trains at Pasco in Florida.

Paul is a gentlemen and true master craftsman.
This locomotive is a masterpiece of locomotive art.
She sounds perfectly square one notch from the center
I have almost a half hour of phone camera footage of Paul, and
Mikes backsides listening to this engine if anyone is interested.
Many thanks to Paul, Mike and the Pasco live steamers for
Their hospitality and a great time.

I enjoyed meeting Paul and Mike at the Pasco track, and seeing this beautiful locomotive. Unfortunately I couldn't stay to see it run more. Maybe next year...

mike and paul, what kind of whistle does 1690. it almost sounds like a chris Rizzoli 5 chime whistle. or was it custom made? either way it sounds good it has that big beefy locomotive tone and keep up the good work. keep on steaming.

Dan

That is a Rizzoli 5 chime, Chris makes them for me, I stock them in CB&Q 5 chime and ACE 3 chime
they are VERY big whistles
