Ideas needed for spring equalized truck

APM, I will have to ask the builder as I didn't make it. It was built following the Don Young articles in Live Steam mag so I would presume he did what Don said. I couldn't tell when I held it. I thought maybe spot welded.

Loco112 it is the CNJ 592 at the B&O RR musuem. I can't quite find the link where I found the photo anymore but searching CNJ 592 brings up a lot of hits on Google's image search.
