I agree with others Dave...very nice! And the 1361 looks pretty good too! Just kidding. What an honor to share your skills in the presence of other noted 1:1 railroad artifacts. Congrats!

To that end...find attached a couple pix of the 1.5" scale 4917 at the ILS during the recent Annual Meet last month. Carl B.

Hi Pete

Thanks
Looking at the GG1 I get the inspiration to build some. I have a good number of prints. I think I'll start with the pantograph.

Even after cleaning the engine has just the right amount of patina on it to make it look better than it did new. Looks really great on display. Wish I was closer to go back to the museum and see it. I have not been there since 2006 I think. Great museum and double bonus of having the Strausburg right across the street.

My son and I appreciated your model, and I appreciated your willingness to talk to this Vermonter.
You were patient enough to answer my many questions, and have opened up my mind to new ideas.
It's amazing what a face to face conversation can accomplish.
Your locomotive is inspiring, as was our trip to the museum.

Hi Bill
It was nice to meet with you . I don't mind answering any questions that is a big part of this hobby. Hopefully you will continue you quest to build a locomotive some day.

Thanks Dave
