Can someone attach a photo, or photos, of the disasembled axle with its the bearings, seals and all the parts needed to make up one of the main driver axles on the Little Engines Northern.
I would like to see how all the parts interact.

I do not have a picture of the disassembled, but here is a picture of the drive axles for my ALCO Northern, they use the "new" designed axle boxes, I discontinued the old roller bearing boxes to make the build easier, they are only available by special order
these new boxes use a sealed bearing

wow, thats a nice improvement.....i built the old alco many years ago, with the original lateral boxes and timken roller bearings.....and it was a pain! had to bore one end of the box, and thread it for the bearing retainer nut, then bolted a slug to the lathe faceplate, and turned it to fit the first bored end, and bored the other end so they would be concentric.....Im looking forward to starting another alco soon !!!
