Thoughts on the Emco Compact 5 CNC?

There is a complete, running system available at a good price near me.

Thanks

A little locomotive with 4 wheels on the track is a lot more fun
than a 1/2 finished one with 16 wheels on the bench!

Emco compact 5's are decent little lathes. Coupled with a more modern control like Centroid, Mach or Linux, and you can work within it's limitations, you should enjoy it until you outgrow it. There is a groups.io group that supports them including the original control.
