Hello; new guy logging in

Post by Steve Nuttall »

Hi there; new to this place; i have been around for a long time over at CNCzone; but there are some good ideas on these forums

I have built and have running 3 cnc home use machines (actually more; but I scrapped them as they did not do exactly what i wanted)
I am in the process of making web pages for the machines
Here is my Mini Mill (VMC)

Webpage

Steve,

Nice job on the machine and the parts you make with it. Do you make the guns for your own models, or do you sell models / parts?

Hi Bill
Thanks

I sell parts; mostly the barrels; my main seller are ship sets; aircraft are too up and down; I just do the odd gun for aircraft
I was going to use the Mini Mill and Gantry for mastering ship hulls and parts of the same; but I'm so busy with Barrels I don't get much time for the masters

The machine control is Mach3
I work with Surfcam at work; so it's natural i use it for my home stuff
USB keys are great

Nice work. Hope you are around when I need some ideas.

I have built 2 CNC milling machines and did a retrofit on a Bridgeport.

If you want to see them check my web page.
