G-Simple is NOT!

toddalin, do you still use gsimple? I tried following their engraving example and I get a Tool Missing dialog when making the g-code - "No engraving tool present for text ID 2.

I selected the text object, then setup > tool holder > T01 I attached EM02R2 (the same endmill in the example). The only difference is that I'm in inch dimension, so my Engr. width is 0.079.

I just figured it out, the selected tool has to be configured for the material being used and the dimension has to be exactly correct. I discovered that the tool was set up as 0.07874, two rounding issues from 2mm. The tool holder rounds the number to 0.079.
