Hi Russ,

when I look at the picture, I think, it's closer to you than to me :)

As it looks today, I will return next year to see the lifts at TM in operation.
This time, I'll come alone over.

Greetings from Germany
Hubert The Goose

P.S.: Next weekend, I'll pick up my first steam-engine, if nothing will fail.
It's the 5" gauge Porter "Marie E", where the prototype still is running in California and was fired last year by Carl of Bitter Creek.
It's not a contest-model, but a nearly new engine build to a good running standard.

and after some search in the archive I found the link to Wales West:

http://www.waleswest.com

Wales West is a RV Resort & a Train & Garden Family Park and located in Silverhill, Alabama in South Eastern USA just off the Gulf of Mexico.

As you see, my first statement wasn't wrong, Alabama is much closer to Oregon than Germany :P

Fred:

I'm about 110 miles north of downtown Mobile.

In the next month or so I need to get down to Mobile to hit a few stores down in the "Big City". My cousin's son and his family live in Fairhope and I may drive across the Bay to see them.

While I'm on the other side of the Bay, and if I've got some spare time, I'm gonna try and stop by your place and check out the facility.

What day(s)/hours do you have your steam up and running?
