Pensy K4 chassis
I believe that this is a Pensy K4 chassis by H.J. Coventry (If anyone can conform or contradict this, let me know).
It has the two frame rails with the axleboxes on two of the axles.
There are 6 drivers on axles with the pins for connecting and coupling rods installed. The wheels are completely machined (there's one less thing for you to do!).
There is light surface rust on the parts.
This is the frame that was on display at the PVLS sale table earlier this year.
A full set of drawings for the locomotive are available from John at Friend's Models:

Asking $100. Local pickup in S.W. Connecticut. May be able to deliver or meet you half way. Will consider shipping for a fee.

Based on the fact that you suspect it is a Coventry model, and also because you managed to get it on a table without being to big or breaking the table, is it safe to assume it is 3/4" scale?

Actually, the pictures were taken on the floor, but yes, it is 3/4" scale, 3-1/2" gauge. Thanks for pointing out the omission.Benjamin Maggi wrote:Based on the fact that you suspect it is a Coventry model, and also because you managed to get it on a table without being to big or breaking the table, is it same to assume it is 3/4" scale?

Steve,
You said that the drivers were completely machined, but in some of the pictures I see no tread at all on them. Am I seeing things? I could understand the middle drivers to be blind but not the outside ones.
