A friend is looking for 12 spoke, square counterweight 1.5" scale drivers that will finish out at 7 to 8 inches in diameter. The only vendor that I remember having anything close was Rogers-Cooke...
Thanks,
Darren

Darren,
I am getting ready to have cast a 14 spoke square CW driver
for an 1887 Schenectady engine that will finish to 8" or less.
My pattern is CNC machined aluminum.
This is the larger version of the Rogers Cooke wheel that was
"borrowed" from the builder of a Colorado Midland engine.
Contact me direct if you want.

If I remember correctly Gene Allen sells optional driver castings with square counterweights.
I may be off my nut though (been one of those days).

The drivers for the 1.5" Winton Mogul have square counterweights. And, as I remember, the drivers finish to 7" diameter. Don't know for sure how many spokes they have.

given no other alternative:
You can always go with 'crescent' counterweights and fill in with epoxy or rock hard water putty as I did on a couple.
a bit of paint and some small work with a dremel and nobody is the wiser.
