There are ways to recover those pictures as long as you don't start using and writing other stuff all over the drive.

You can get the free download of the read only portion to see what it will/can recover. It builds you a list and then you can recover whatever you want to. May take 24 hours to run and do the scan though.Then you can pay (under $100?) for the actual recovery part (a patch if I remember right). It does need another hard drive to write the recovered data to though. No big deal with todays USB attached hard drives for under #100. You should have an external backup anyway.

The company is out of one of the asian countries and when i got the program they only took paypal. I was skeptical but desperate at the time so I sprung the money. Very happy customer. Have used the program a couple of times.

I did a system restore and the files were there, but nothing in them. I know there are programs for recovering them, but I will just take new ones. I am not real interested in the past anyway.

Just a update on my machine move. Took a while to figure out, but now I will always have a good way to lift heavy stuff. I did not have much wiggle room for height, but just enough. Cool thing is, (with the help of my tractor for beam placement) I can do it all myself. Metal muncher is over 4000 pounds easy.

Yes it is!. We don't run from our sky around here. Really scary-tragic stuff down your way. I am sure a funnel cloud is killer to look at, but from a safe distance. (whatever that is?)

Lightning hits every once in a while, but I have not seen too much up this hill. Other side you see a lot of trees hit ( Heading to Bend Oregon)

That's a great looking view and a great looking shop. That beam does have little wiggle room but should serve it's purpose well. What type of casters are on that metal muncher? What type of weight can they support?

I figure down the road the beam could be modified to extend up if needed. It did the job, and keeps me from looking for a fork lift.

The casters came from my friend in Wyoming, and have no info on them. Really old, and were free too! They work well, and have a cast base to them. Takes a lot to move them, but that works for me. Mostly I just want to be able to swing the muncher around for longer stock if needed, and once in a while roll it out of the way to get my truck into the shop.

I added two things to the shop, and I am thrilled with them. One was free a metal bookcase, that I made into a shelf, and the other was a metal cabinet of of Craigslist. $55.00 worked for me. I like having my benches cleaned up, so I have room to work on things. I really am trying to clear out enough floor space for a lathe/and smaller mill of some sort. 24'X32' does not leave a lot of room when you have a plasma table hogging up space. Still I am really happy I can get all I need in there. The side benefit is, it's easy to heat.

Shop wiring is done, and works like it should. My CNC plasma machine was kind of finicky before the upgrade. Thanks for the offer though.
