SD-40-2 SD-40-2T SD-50 SD-60 HTC truck drawings
I have a 36" x 10' (36 inch x 10-feet) long blueprint that came from General Motors Electromotive Division.
This is not a blueprint that you can find at another seller and buy a copy, at any cost. This is the only copy I have ever heard of that is in our hobby.
It has incredible details of the three-axle HTC trucks as used on the iconic locomotives of the GM SD locomotive line of the 1970's, 80's and early 90's. I believe these were first sold on the new in 1972 on the SD-40-2 and they were the trucks to have all through the SD-60's until the HTC-II arrived on the SD-70's with its steerable features, and great complexity.
I paid $125 for this copy back in 1988, and I'll take the same for a copy now. I'll place it in a nice shipping tube and ship to any state in the union except Hawaii and Alaska, and I'll see if I can pay the shipping to those two states also, if its at a reasonable cost.
This is the same blueprint that Lee Wright used to build the incredible SD locomotive HTC trucks for his world class 7.5" gauge Electromotive diesel locomotives. Lee sold me this drawing and said; "If you ever want to build a GM SD locomotive, you will have to use this blueprint". I bought it then sight unseen, and it was as great opportunity then and an even better opportunity and better value now, for your (declining) dollar. $125 in 1988 buys a whole lot more than it does now, that is for sure!

Anyone else want one while I'm at it?

I'm lowering the price to $100. (Copy costs have come down in recent years)
$100 total for the tube to arrive at your door.
Its only 10' long, I recently learned.
I have FLtenwheelers copy here, it will be mailed tomorrow, if any of you are "on the fence" about ordering your own, wait and talk to FL and see if he's satisfied with his copy (I think he will be very satisfied), so you can take his word and not just mine.

Hi,
I would very much like a copy of this drawing. How much is it, and where do I send it.

In this hobby, 10 years is not long. LBSC’s engines from 100 years ago could be built and run today and still be fun.
