HELP WANTED! Anybody out there with a Backyard Rails F-7 electronic train control (not the lever control), please PM me. I'm looking for a schematic of the train control junction/relay box and can't seem to locate either of the old Backyard Rails website or Yahoo Groups for this loco. Thanking you in advance. Carl B.

Well people, I haven't received any inquiries yet. Perhaps we can expand the field just a little bit. If any of you KNOW someone with a Backyard Rails F-7 or GP-50 with the electronic train control, can you have them contact me? Please PM me for direct email info. Thanking you in advance. Carl B.

Carl have you tried to locate Don Phillips ? He was the original owner of Backyard Rails. Last I knew he was living down around the Springfield, IL area. About 5 years ago he stopped at a train show we had some 1 1/2 stuff displayed at and introduced himself and we chatted for awhile. He stated he would come out and see us some saturday night at the shop but as far as I know has never showed up.

I do know that Ross Sowers talked/visited with Don from time to time but unfortunately Ross is no longer with us.

Are you working on Bob's engine?

Tim,

Sent you a PM regarding contacting/finding Don Phillips.

Regarding the NYC F's...no, these are mine. I jointly own these with one other club member. I've been slowly refurbishing the units and have made several upgrades. The electrical system has been band-aided and butt-spliced over the years. It was time to get that cleaned up as well...including proper fuse protection for various add-on features. Once again, any info from you or anyone else that might lead to an electrical schematic would be a great time-saver. Thanx. Carl B.
