Thats it (thanks dregs484) Richard Stolzentels 2+3/8 scale on 4 3/4" gauge, SR&RL #24, that was the man and the scale & gauge I was attempting to have you find and look at. I knew that a really great example (that one) that was close to that scale & gauge had been done in the past, but I could not think of the name nor the specific details, but it was important for you to know about.

I have seen Stolzentels #24 parts & drawing lists for that #24, and its impressive.

UPDATE: Flatcar castings coming soon! :)

And work has started on the Lucky 7 patterns and CAD work. Laser cut frames and platework, with RP patterns for the rest. See the driver pattern here:
http://www.shapeways.com/model/543088/ and click on the 3D view.

More to come!

What 3d printer you have? Have seen the cupcakes upclose and was left not impressed by the resolution. Your printer looks to be much higher resolution.

I use an Objet Eden 500v. It goes down to 16 microns. Way more expensive than Shapeways and the other providers. Worth every penny when it comes to making patterns.

How odd!

Try this one: http://adirondack.x10.mx/Welcome.html

Thanks!

This one doesn't work either. I spent a little time trying to figure out the problem. No luck. It works if you cut and paste, however.
