Post by Jim_Nolan »

Cleaning out the drawing cupboard and have found the following.

Full set of SP 4-8-2 drawings done by Ken Seymour. Note this is not the whole locomotive but what he had done prior to the demise of his project.

Also Prints of original SP drawings all for the mountain all at 1.5 to the foot.

2 wheel trailing truck (GA)
4 wheel front truck (GA)
28” X 30” cylinder block
Cast steel engine bed
Cast steel tender bed
Side rods

Free to a good home, P&P at cost dependant on where they end up.

Would be very interested in the SP mountain drawings. I have a large collection of drawings from the SP Mechanical Department for locomotives and cars, and work with vendors to supply information.

Hello

I had posted a reply to your ad but wasn't sure if it had gotten to you. Would be very interested in the SP Mountain drawings. I have a large number of drawings from the SP Mechanical Dept for cars, but they threw most of the steam locomotive materials out in 1962 (I went to work with the SP in 1968). I model in one inch and also work with vendors and persons in the model railroad industry to make available information for their projects. Can provide monitary compensation if you desire. Thank you for your consideration.
