Model Craftsman was a magazine that in around 1948 became Model Railroad Craftsman.

The archive indexes came in. They took awhile but the archives had over 140 S2 drawings and about 20 tender drawings. You can also visit the archives if you want to see what you want to photocopy before you pay them to make the copies.

While not on the Pennsy turbine, there is a fair amount on the Turbomotive (LMS) which used a similar system. (geared turbine driving wheels). I have a background in steam turbines now, and wouldn't recommend either system...

I'm helping a friend source prints so he can build one, my next build's going to be a PRR J1. I sent off for both drawing indexes, can post an update on my findings if you want.

The railroad museum in Sacramento has drawings for the Pennsy J1 that Lima was going to build but was cancelled. The Lima order # is 1169
