Not entirely sure who's engine this is but it's Walschaerts gear and it's an Allen mogul.

I was thinking Gene offered hios 2-8-0 with Walschaerts, but maybe I'm off my nut.

Its baker gear, I'm using it on my ten wheeler build! but it does take some redesign to fit it around the larger drivers

Dont know where my ten wheeler is but i put walcharts gear on it usings loco parts link and bracket,picture of it on cals website
