All, I need to obtain two 1/8" MTP globe valves (straight). I have had globe valves on order from COLES for months (and still waiting) and my project is to a point I need them. If anyone could help me out by selling me 2, I would appreciate it. I can be contacted via pm message. Thank you.
Jeff

Sorry,
My bad, Brother.

I saw the 1/8 and assumed since it was at the top it was the small valve. Went back and checked and you are right, it is 1/8 NPT.

Locoparts (locoparts.biz) has them in 3/16". That's the smallest they carry. Same with Steamfittings.com.

Reeves shows 1/8, but not sure which thread profile:

You might check with American Model Engineering:

I wonder if your best bet would be the small scale (e.g G-scale) and stationary model suppliers, like Stuart ( www.stuartmodels.com )

Just got off the phone with Courtney at Coles Power Models. Seems they have been getting robbed alot during the night. If I were there, the robber would get a Lead Sandwich as he came through the door. They put up security cameras and they cut the wires . If your waiting for an order like me that is why it's late. Cops didn't even respond to fill a report after latest break in. Go Figure !!!!

That kind of crap irritates me to no extent.

I'm thinking they need to get a Dobie, or Bob's idea has merit.

One concerning thing.
They keep coming back.

Why?

What's left? 3/16, 1/4" ells and tees? gauge glass?

The local constabulary must really be something if they are having a hard time tracking down all of those steam engine casting kits on the hock shop market.

I truly feel for them.

Hey Kenny, maybe time for a few nights camping out in the shop with a couple of double barrels...

A minute with a torch and all those expensive bits we covet are nothing more than an unidentifiable, untraceable lump of brass.

Brain

I would love to but the cops WOULD come get me.

It's just a big mess that the cops and lawyers can't see to handle or end.

For what it's worth I am sorry for the order problems but I'm just the son not an owner so I'm in the same boat as you are.
