Dear Fellow welders:

I just bought a used welder and I need a manual for it. It is a Kemppi MTC mini system / MP 1500.
It is a combination tig welder and stick welder. I checked the Kemppi site and they had nothing. If you could help that would be great! My e-mail: mickey1961@verizon.net

Thank You,

Mickey

I have a Kempii. Fine welder except different type/model. I found that they were very much affiliated at a time by Powcom. I think that was the name. If I was a serious welder I would know right off but I forget things. The possibility is that it was a model sold and supported by this California firm.

Maybe go here? http://www.kemppi.com/

If they used to be associated with PowCon (I have one of those beauties) you might go here too: http://www.arconweld.com/

The PowCon guys, invented the inverter welder species, when or after they invented a centralized blasting system....same concept worked for both. Gunnar & Goran, of PowCon fame, started Arcon not too long ago. Cool guys....I've met both of 'em....

Arcon welders are really good too. I bought several on the last few contract jobs I worked.

Trivia..... We now return to you're regularly scheduled thread......

Bill
