My shop teacher would have failed you!!! I say use what works . He left the chuck key in the chuck one day demonstraiting how they can injure you if not taken out before starting. Need I say any more. I remembering how we got in big trouble with the principal for laughing about this incident. Bad Kids !!!!

Got to agree with RB211- I would ask if you would consider selling drawings, castings, water jet parts. Nice engine, probably others who would want to build other than me but who won't buy a finished loco.

Cheers, Mountaineer.

Here are a of the crosshead. Never mind, I cannot upload any pictures due to size restrictions. How do I make the pictures smaller?

I posted more photos of the builds/projects we are doing on the website. As soon as I figure out how to shrink the photos down, I'll post them here.

If they are linked, make damned sure they aren't larger than 800 pixels in width, otherwise they'll have to be clicked to be viewed. Pictures larger than 800 pixels in width cause text spread for folks with older monitors. We have to be mindful of them, too.

The issue with posting pictures is being addressed by the owner of the board, and should be rectified by this evening. Please be patient.

If you have a PC running Windows, you can use Paint to shrink pictures.

1) Click Start>Programs>Accessories>Paint

2) From within paint click file>open and navigate to the location of the photo.

2a) Alternatively, you can either drag your picture into paint or right click on the picture and select 'open with' and select paint.

3) Once you have the photo open, click image>attributes from the menu bar.

You want the 'width' to be less than 800 per Harold.

4) Figure out what % you need to reduce to to get the width down to 800.
For example, if the photo is 1200 wide, you need to reduce to 800/1200=66.6% to get the width down below 800.

5) Click image>resize/skew and enter the % determined above to shrink the photo.

I know there are many other ways to skin this cat, but this one is quick and easy once you do it a few times.

If you have a Mac, I have no idea how to shrink the photos.

The Eureka chassis should be on air in two days. I posted more pictures on the website since I am some what computer illiterate and do not know how to shrink pictures to make them fit here. The website has been updated and all the project pages have been updated as well.
