That radial arm drill looks new , must be chinese .
Fantastic looking engine , you deserve to be proud , detail pays off , it is worth the effort in the long run .

We all had a great time at the Pasco Central and Gulf railroad in Florida these past 2 weeks.

While in Florida last month I picked up a very nice riding car from my friend Mike Venezia. We installed the trucks and brought it home. I covered the top where the seats mount with full aluminum diamond plate. I ran 2 lines for brakes. One for vacuum on one truck and air for the other truck. The vacuum connection is 3/16" of cource and I use Clippard connections for the air pressure.

This week trying to not to work at cracking the whip around Keal Case here I managed to make more important things like making details for this Pocono Northern currently parked here in the machine shop on site. Fun stuff I think.Your humble servant is making the little tool box [ actually 2 tool boxes ] for the underside of the tender. The small brass brackets for the rods that keep the lid closed are time consuming but rewarding. When finished riveting the small drive screws in place I shall silver solder the rods to keep them from moving. Hey... paint the whole mess and it should look okay,,,, I think.

The 1637 is coming along nicely. She is almost ready for paint. Tool boxes are attached.

It doesn't look as if the toolbox doors actually open.
