SAME THING YOU DO if your briefcase with all your backups is stolen....bend over and kiss it goodbye.

I am sure there are legal remedies, but in the end...is it worth the hassle and $$$?

If it is, then have a safe deposit box with the stuff in it.

heck...I have data on old ZIP drives that I have not looked at for 15 years...so what is it worth to keep?

is why I like books....as long as the eyeballs and brain are working they can be used.

if eyeballs and / or brain are not working (hush now....) -> are of no further use anyway....
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

The service is a back-up for the hard drive, which I keep at home. If the service goes broke, sign up for another.
