Charlie's LE 4-4-0 crosshead pumps will keep up with the boiler demand. I'm not sure what size the rams are on it, but maybe he will chime in and let us know.

Also: My modified Allen Chloe's crosshead pump would not keep up after I bored out the cylinders. It just seemed like it ran all the time and wouldn't really raise the water level. I believe it was a 1/4" ram on it. I increased the size to a 5/16" ram, and that made it much better. Now it will provide plenty of water no matter what load and speed I run it.

That does nor seem like much, but a 5/16 diameter ram pumps 156% of a 1/4 ram.

I am getting ready to do a lot of work on the water system. I will have to measure the rams this weekend. I am hoping to add an injector to the effort
