My LE American has a hand pump mounted in the tender tank and I have an awful time getting it clear of water for winter storage.
I suppose I could use an "RV antifreeze" but then I need to get all that crud out of the tender in the spring.
There is no easy way to pressurize the tender tank and the pump pickup is very near the bottom of the tank so blowing the water out with air isn't easy either.
I suppose I could use a wet/dry shop vac on the output line from the pump.
What is the best/easiest way to clear all water from the pump and line? (The tender is stored in an unheated area and it gets COLD up here!)
Thanks gang!

Re: Draining tender hand pump?
I made mine to be removable, 4 Allen cap screws on bottom of tank. I unscrew them and pull the pump out if needed. If you can take off your pick-up inlet of the pump and remove the check ball it should dry out on its own.
