It is one beautiful locomotive !!!! I'm sure it looks better than when it came from Alco. And that double header was something to see, never thought it would happen.

Unbelievable what the optimistic UP team is planning! A lot of opportunities to enjoy that Big Engine which may not come again for sure.

Truly amazing that the U.P Big Boy #4014 is steaming again!
I look forward to being trackside during one its voyages.
Equally amazing is the restoration on Baldwin's smallest Mallet, SKOOKUM. 2-4-4-2.
I rode it during steam tests in May this year, in Garibaldi, Oregon, USA.
Two of the most unlikely locomotive restorations , both in my lifetime, both running in 2019 !!
