Large scale Sunbeam Headlight

Post by JohnHudak »

This headlight is once again available...
I will also be interested in trades as I’m looking for either a set of power reverse castings from Dave Moore, or or a SuperScale Economy injector...
Here is a large scale Sunbeam headlight, the body is a 4” diameter tube, and it is just under 4-1/2” long..
This headlight has a 12V halogen front bulb, and a 12V LED light inside to light the side numberboards..
The front lens holder and the side numberboard hinges are dummies, and do not open. To access the bulbs, just remove the three screws around the front lens holder..
This headlight has a glass lens along with a “spun” copper reflector that has been chrome plated..
It currently has the number “221” but I will make and install any number you would like..
I made 7 of these about a year ago and this is the last one.. And there will be no more..
I’ll pay shipping anywhere in the US Thanks for looking, Paypal family/friends Paypal family/friends please..

I’ve gotten a few questions re: the scale of this headlight..
It will fit on a 2-1/2”, 3” or 3-1/2” scale locomotive..
However, since it was built with a 4” diameter tube, it may not look right on a “smaller” 2-1/2” scale locomotive..
