Hi Joe, I have a later version of that saw. Mine has no legs nor chip pan and was set up for a v-belt drive. The ID plate reads "Sawmaster, Model No. 3100, Serial No. 18314, Miller-Knuth Manufacturing Co., Auburn Nebraska, U.S.A. A wholly owned subsidiary of Auburn Machine Works, Inc." It must have worked well because it has seen extensive use. I have replaced the drive shaft and gear, the pulley, all bushings/bearings, and am in the process of refinishing it. On mine, the bar that supports the saw frame was originally jewelled. It must have been pretty when new. I look forward to following your restoration.
