Amtrak 42 - The Veteran's Engine

When Amtrak went on a painting spree a couple of years ago, they painted one locomotive to honor America's veterans. Attached are before and after shots of #42 at West Quincy Missouri ... the first is dated 14 Dec 2012, the second 3 Sep 2016.

That was a very good thing that Amtrak did. I'd like to see more similar locomotives. I had heard of this engine but never saw a photo of it. Nice.
I wonder how long they will keep it painted in this scheme though. Hopefully for as long as it stays in service, or longer.
Given that Amtrak engines seem to move around the country on different trains, I wonder if I'll ever see it in MN on the only Amtrak train that goes through here - trains 7 &8. Or, maybe it has but I don't see every Empire Builder train that passes through.
