As I type this I don't know what I'll be posting, but probably something.

Ok, now they're in. First one is the fireman's side grease crew. That pink looking shirt should be red because it is red. Cameras!! That's me running the gun. Seems most of the guys don't like to run the gun. Too heavy, or something. So I generally run the gun. Next is J.F. the guy who taught me all the tricks to make people think you know what you're doing with the fire. He's about to add oil to the lubricators.
Next one is beginning to paint the new jacket after the big overhaul.
All these are from different places, times and topics. But all are the sorts of things that go on with a steam locomotive and its crew.

Shots like these are not usually posted, but serve as a perfect illustration as to how labor intensive the operation of a steam locomotive is .... great stuff
