New track in Ridgway Colorado

Postby tom c » Mon Jun 11, 2018 6:01 pm

I went out to the work week that was held the first week of June and helped put down some rail on the new 1/2 mile loop that the Museum is building. We ended up at about 1200 feet of 75 lb rail. It will give Goose 1 a place to shed her feathers!

Tom, in your Colorado adventures, did you run into Chip Sherman? He goes by coloradozephyr on TO.

That sure looks costly! Are they going to put some ballast down between the ties before they start normal operation?

That's the kind of work I'd like to get in on. Too bad it is so far away.
