Hi Tom. My bad, I haven't been looking in this forum lately.
You are a true craftsman. How many cars total are in the fleet now? And locomotives?
BTW, I keep forgetting to take a photo of that Clishay, Clyshay or whatever. I'm never going to get around to doing anything with it, so I'm going to try to find a good home for it.

Mark, It isn't I that is the craftsman, It is my friend John that is the MAN when it comes to building and repairing. We have 8 freight cars, 1- 4 wheel caboose, 1 passenger car, 3 steam enginges, and two gas hydralic. We built all but the steam engines. They came from 2 other folks who loaned them to us and 1 is bought.

And as long as you mentioned the steam engines, can you give me an idea of the cylinder sizes on the engines? And the operating pressure? I'm trying to figure out whether this Clishay thing I have, with its tiny cylinders could pull a train of people. It sure wouldn't move very fast, but I wonder how much it can actuallly do.

Mark, #7 has a 4 inch bore, not sure of the stroke, maybe 4 inch also. It carries 100#'s of steam. I have seen pictues of those things on Utube pulling a car or two with a few folks. If you want to donate it to a good group, i would suggest the Live Steamers in Hudson Wi. would be a good home for it.

4" bore? Wow! This little Clishay has, from outward appearance, about a 1" bore. I'm not sure how much pressure it's supposed to run at. I have all the paperwork with it, but I haven't bothered to read anything. Heaven forbid, I might learn something..

Well it is done! We rolled out #559 to make it's official debut. Just missing marker lights. Next project is to make some from our castings.

Since the caboose was rolled out, we needed some pics with an engine. What better than # 10?

Well, will ya' look at that! It's finally done, and on the rails.
Has it been put into service yet? I can't tell if that engine is hot in those photo's, or just cold and sitting there.
