Re: superscale
Hi Dave,
I am a modeler down here in Australia and I have the ex Bruno Platzer K 36 down here. It has a bunch of Superscale stuff on it and I want to know if you would be able to supply me with some bits I require?

Re: 2-1/2" Scale brake valves
Hi Jack. Drew Marget from Melbourne Australia. I have Bruno's K 36 over here and I am very interested in purchasing these brake valves. Interestingly, the loco is set up with the S6 as the train brake valve which runs on air and the H6 as the engine brake which runs on steam. I am not sure why howev...

Re: New Brake Valves
Hi Jack, I messaged you when you first manufactured these beautiful valves as I am the owner of Bruno's K 36 and would love to purchase a set of 2 1/2" scale ones when available. I was wondering if you have proceeded with them and if not are you proposing too? The engine brake unit currently fi...

Re: New Brake Valves
Sounds great Jack. I have a friend back here in Australia having some cars sent out late this year or early next year from Bruno, so it would be an opportunity to send them to Bruno if they are available then and if that is OK with you. I propose to use the large scale to replace the loco brake valv...

Re: New Brake Valves
Hi Jack, My name is Drew Marget and I reply to you from Melbourne Australia. This time last year I was over in your neck of the woods taking delivery of Bruno's K 36, now re-numbered the 482 (its original number). Having lots of fun running the magnificent loco back here on our great live steam rail...

Re: Ridge Locomotive Works
Thanks Marty. The size of the boiler places it outside the AMBSC code and it must conform to our Department of Industry code. This code does allow steel boilers with copper tubes. I guess from the number of steel boilers with copper tubes you have done, you prefer this combination and it obviously w...

Re: Ridge Locomotive Works
Hi Marty, Thanks for the updates. Noticed you have used copper tubes in a large steel boiler. Do you prefer using copper over steel tubes that are welded in? Pro's and con's of either? Contemplating the use of either material ina new large boiler of similar capacity and design here in Aus. Thanks fo...

Re: MAKING A SET OF GRATES
Hi Dave, not sure if you got my first reply, however I am a really keen Pennsy live steamer here in Melbourne Australia. I would love to get in touch with you via email to chat about the possibility of buying some of your components. Your safety valves look great. Look forward to hearing from you.
